Psychodynamic Counselling

Welcome.

If you’re reading this, you may be experiencing difficulties with your mental health, and trying to find someone or something that will help. Your problems may be because of something specific that has happened - but sometimes it can seem like there is no obvious reason for feeling the way you do.

How can I help?

I am a BPC- and BACP-qualified counsellor, and have experience working with a variety of emotional challenges. I work psychodynamically - this means we will not just explore your current difficulties and what they mean for you, but also how your individual ways of responding and relating now may be linked unconsciously to your past.

This form of counselling can help with issues including anxiety and stress, depression, relationship and family problems, bereavement and grief, feeling “stuck” and unresolved childhood issues.

Whatever you bring to our sessions will be seen, heard and valued. Through a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic process, together we can begin to piece together and make sense of your underlying thoughts, feelings and patterns, bringing them into your awareness. The process can enable you to better understand yourself and how you feel, helping foster self-compassion and leading to lasting change.

I offer in-person sessions in central Bath (BA1 1RH), or online via Zoom. If you're curious about your inner world and would like to explore the deeper roots of your problems with a qualified, professional counsellor, please click on the buttons below for more information or to contact me directly:
